Khlong Saen Saep Boat Service

The Khlong Saen Saep boat service is a water bus operating on the Saen Saep Canal in Bangkok through the city’s commercial districts. The 18 kilometre route is served by 100 boats of 40-50 seats. It operates from 5:30AM to 8:30PM daily. The fare depends on the distance traveled and varies from 12 to 22 baht.

The boat service operates along a route that stretches from Panfa Leelard, near Wat Saket (Temple of the Golden Mount), to the eastern outskirts of Bangkok, terminating at Wat Sriboonreung. The boats make frequent stops, allowing passengers to embark and disembark at various points of interest and neighborhoods.

As the boat glides through the khlong, passengers are treated to a unique perspective of Bangkok. Witness local life along the water’s edge, with glimpses of traditional stilt houses, riverside markets, and the daily activities of residents.
